'Game of Thrones' Season 6 spoilers: Deaths and cameo to expect in episode 8

The preview video of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 has been released online and the episode promises more deaths on the show. A cameo appearance of a character not seen for the past few years is also expected in the next episode.

Cersei’s (Lena Headey) trial is expected to take place in the next episode. The preview video shows Lancel (Eugene Simon) confronting Cersie and she chooses violence instead of stepping aside. The Faith Militants appear to be slaughtered one by one by The Mountain (Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson). Another scene shows her quietly making her way to the throne room.

Lancel may not be the only one who could lose his life in the next episode. In a previous interview, Jonathan Pryce (High Sparrow) teased that his character has become “overconfident” and that he will be in for an “unpleasant surprise” during Cersei’s trial. While the High Sparrow believes that everything is going according to plan and no one can challenge him, there are plots being hatched all around him, suggesting that the character’s death is featured in this scene.

There will also be more deaths in “Game of Thrones” Season 6 in some other part of Westeros. The preview video shows Sandor ‘The Hound’ Clegane (Rory McCann) killing what appears to be a member of the Brotherhood without Banners.

According to a report by Winter is Coming, Thoros of Myr (Paul Kaye) is supposed to appear in the current season, his agency Vivienne Clore has confirmed. Thoros was last seen resurrecting Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer) in the third season of the show. The character may now be seen once again with his men in the Brotherhood without Banners.

The preview video of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 episode 8 shows Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) meeting Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) after a long time. With all the necessary characters coming together in the next episode, there is a good chance that Lady Stoneheart will make her first appearance.
