New footage from the "Game of Thrones" Season 5 as well as interviews with the cast is expected to air on HBO in a special episode. The featurette will reportedly air on Feb. 8, 2015 and will include some behind-the-scenes clips as a teaser for the fans.

HBO subscribers will reportedly be able to see a TV slot marked for a 28-minute episode titled "Game of Thrones: A Day in the Life." According to a report by WatchersontheWall, the episode may be similar to the "Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing" that aired last year. The episode from the previous year featured some behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with cast for Season 4 of the TV series.

The producers have so far not released a full-fledged trailer for "Game of Thrones" Season 5. Instead, they have chosen to release a few very short teasers that feature brief images from the upcoming season. The teasers have not been released online and can only be viewed by subscribers to the official ThreeEyedRaven website.

The other official "Game of Thrones" website has been sharing information and images from behind the scenes from the upcoming season. The most recent entry on the website is about a scene shot in a prison cell. The producers did not disclose which character featured in the scene but explained some of the difficulties faced by the cast and crew while filming such a scene.

The scene was reportedly from day 64 of shooting. The scene was supposed to be shot in a tiny cell, but the producers shared that the production set of the cell chosen for the scene was too small to accommodate the cast and the crew. The producers managed to complete the scene by removing the entire walls from the cell set.

The first episode of "Game of Thrones" Season 5 is expected to air in April 2015. Fans of the franchise are eagerly waiting for the first full trailer of the upcoming season. The TV show will introduce some new characters from the kingdom of Dorne in the upcoming season. Fans are excited to see how the Sand Sisters from Dorne will impact the storyline.
