The whole world agrees that "The Fall" star Jamie Dornan is the perfect Christian Grey. While there are still a few unbelievers, leave it to Dakota Johnson's onscreen mother, Jennifer Ehle to shower Dornan with praises. According to Anastasia Steele's mom, Dornan will be "amazing" for the part.

Months after Charlie Hunnam left the part of Christian Grey, producers of "Fifty Shades of Grey" scrambled to find an immediate replacement. Thankfully, British model and actor Jamie Dornan was available for the part. Unlike Hunnam who had an "immersive TV schedule," Dornan's calendar was wide open thus officially earning him the part of Grey.

Quite a handful of fans were overjoyed with the news. Given the fan favourite Matt Bomer wasn't chosen for the part, some claimed Jamie Dornan was a suitable second best. However, there are still a few who would question Dornan's ability.

Leave it to Jennifer Ehle, who plays Anastasia Steele's mother, to burst the bubble of a few sceptics.

"I didn't follow any of the drama, but I think Jamie will be amazing," said Ehle in an interview with E! News.

Even with the film set out for production anytime next month, Jennifer Ehle along with the cast are still unsure of how the film would turn out.

"Being a visual medium, it's hard to tell from a script what something's going to be like," said Ehle. As for jumping into the bandwagon of "Fifty Shades of Grey," Ehle added, "It's extraordinary. I'm excited. I feel kind of like a tourist... I'm along for the ride, as it were."

"Fifty Shades of Grey's'" cast members include Jennifer Ehle and Jamie Dornan who have been officially cast as Carla Wilks and Christian Grey respectively. Jamie Dornan's Anastasia Steele is set to be played by Dakota Johnson of "The Social Network" while Dornan's brother Elliot Grey is set to be played by Luke Grimes. There is still no word with regards to the casting of Kate Kavanagh, Ana's best friend and Elliot's love interest.

Production is scheduled to begin by December 2 with the official release of the film on August 2014.
