'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Actress Dakota Jonson Tied Up In Ropes And Suspended From Ceiling In New Song 'Earned It'

“Fifty Shades of Grey” team has released a new song from the film's soundtrack called “Earned It” by The Weeknd. The music video of the song, which is shown on You Tube, features Dakota Johnson wearing a skin-coloured bikini. The actress, who plays Anastasia Steele in the upcoming movie, is tied up in a number of ropes and is suspended from the ceiling as The Weeknd's Abel Tesfay croons. Check out the link here.
The chorus has a number of women in sexually explicit outfits as background dancers. The women wear black thongs which expose their derriere, that has huge X sign written in bold black. Apart from showing off their bodies, the women also wear black nipple pasties and dance in the background. Though there is no sign of film's lead character Christian Grey in the song, there are many suggestions of his presence. Christian is shown in the film as a kinky billionaire who is into bondage sex. Anastasia (played by Johnson) is seen suspended from a rope and tied up in knots, a suggestion of her role in the film.
However, Anastasia's look from the film is not appreciated by many fans of the book. According to various people who commented on the You Tube link and Daily Mail's comments section, Johnson does not do justice to Anastasia's role. Fans of the book feel that she does not look “hot enough” in the music video.
“I guess that Dakota being rigged up in suspension was supposed to be sexy. I thought she seemed lifeless and it was disturbing and gross,” writes a user that goes by the name klhsmith on Daily Mail's comments section. There are others who feel that the video is anti-feminist and does not show women in good light. “So this is where women have ended up after all the efforts of the women's movement. Androgyny, pasties and strip tease routines,” writes another reader that goes by the name Mary on the same website.
The film “Fifty Shades of Grey” is based on the 2011 best selling novel by the same name. Written by author E.L. James, the novel has two more sequels “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed.” “Fifty Shades of Grey” film is based on the first novel by the same name. It is scheduled to be released on Feb. 13, 2015 to coincide with the Valentine's Day.
