Eminem’s “The Interview” cameo was published on YouTube a day before Christmas Day and has since been viewed more than 3.5 million times. In the controversial Sony Pictures film, the rapper appears as himself as a guest in a talk show hosted by James Franco’s character.
In the one-on-one interview scene, the 42-year-old rapper said he handles his past issues with his mother and his former wife by rapping about women. He says, “Or, you know, when I say things about gay people and people think that my lyrics are homophobic, you know, it’s because I’m gay.”
Franco’s character was surprised to hear Eminem admit he is gay. He even emphasized that he is a homosexual, he likes men, and he has been gay peekaboo all along. The flabbergasted show runner played by Seth Rogen yells, “Eminem just said he was gay four times!”

While it was previously canceled, “The Interview” was released on Christmas Day amid controversies involving North Korea. Its story revolves around a plan to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The screenplay was written by Dan Sterling based on the story of the directors Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

Joining Rogen and Franco in the cast are Randall Park, Diana Bang, Lizzy Caplan, Timothy Simons, Reese Alexander and Anesha Bailey among others. Watch Eminem’s “The Interview” cameo here:
