She might have hit record after hit record, an art collective that is Haus of Gaga, a workshop to rival that of Santa's as well as a firm place in history but Lady Gaga doesn't have it all.

In her most unguarded interview yet, the superstar extraordinaire reveal to Vanity Fair that she doesn't have a knack for relationships; at least not in the same way that she has with making music.

The 25-year-old has been linked recently to "Vampire Diaries" actor Taylor Kinney who also starred in her "You and I" video. Though both parties have yet to confirm the relationship, it looks like there isn't much hope for the blossoming romance.

Gaga confessed that if it came down to her personal life or making her little monsters (as she calls her fans) happy, she would always take the latter choice.

"I only know the happiness of putting a smile on someone's face from the stage," the mother monster declared. While the commitment to making music and doing absolutely everything for her fans is commendable, one cannot help but feel sad about Gaga's poignant statements.

"If I'm supposed to end up like some crazy casualty, then that's my destiny. I love show business. I need it. It's like breath," she ends, firmly cementing her faithfulness to her craft.

Perhaps that's exactly the difficulty that makes Gaga's love life such an emotional rollercoaster. She cannot turn off her public persona in favour of the more private side. In a span of 3 years, the performer has made enormous leaps and bounds in terms of furthering her career but at what cost?

Now she uncovers the price she has paid for being a luminary-she will always choose to be a hundred percent Gaga and not a lot of people can handle that. That she usually dates creative types is also problematic as they become jealous of her ingenuity and fame.

Hopefully, the powerhouse performer will soon meet a match that honors her creatively and romantically.
