"Once Upon a Time" star Colin O'Donoghue continued to talk about his on-screen character Captain Hook in an interview as well as what fans can expect when the fairy tale drama series returns from its long break. After teasing Captain Hook's upcoming story arc in "Once Upon a Time" Season 4 in a previous report, the 33-year-old Irish actor talked about what he wants Captain Hook to do next, dogs and the arrival of the Queens of Darkness.

According to a Zap2It report, Colin O'Donoghue did not share a scene with Dalmatian puppies when he filmed "Once Upon a Time" Season 4, episode 14. However, the Irish actor teased that not having scenes with dogs does not mean Captain Hook has no connection with one of the villains.

With the subject on dogs, the CW star revealed that he has an important pet that he plays with and brings on the set of "Once Upon a Time" in Vancouver, Canada. "I have my own dog at home," O'Donoghue shared.

The OUAT fans got a glimpse of the "Queens of Darkness" in "Once Upon a Time" Season 4, episode 12 titled "Heroes and Villains" which was aired last Dec. 14. Actor Colin O'Donoghue teased the fans of what they can expect from Ursula (Merrin Dungey), Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit) and Maleficent (Kristin Bauer van Straten) in the second half of season 4.

"The Ursula we saw [in Season 3] was Regina, so [this is] a very different type of Ursula. They can expect, certainly with Maleficent, she's very much the same -- but also a lot of time has passed," O'Donoghue teased. The actor further added that the viewers will be surprised in seeing how the "Queens of Darkness" fit into the new storyline after concluding the "Frozen" storyline in the fairy tale drama series.

Colin O'Donoghue further revealed in the interview what he would want to see next for Captain Hook. According to the actor, he would like to explore more on Captain Hook's past like his relationship with his father.

"There's tons of stuff. I'm very lucky I get to play a character who's very complicated and at times can be very dark and at other times can be very light and charming. You don't often get to do that," O'Donoghue stated. Meanwhile, a Bustle report revealed that the fans can catch the "Once Upon a Time" actor in singer Christina Perri's new music video for her single titled "The Words."

The 28-year-old singer has posted photos from the set of her music video on Twitter featuring the handsome Irish actor. "Restless and loud, unspoken and wild. #thewords #comingsoon,"Perri posted as a caption to one image with actor Colin O'Donoghue on her Twitter account @christinaperri on Thursday, Dec. 18.

Colin O'Donoghue will return as Captain Hook in "Once Upon a Time" Season 4, episode 13 titled "Darkness on the Edge of Town" which is scheduled to air on March 1, 2015 on ABC.
