Cameron Gable endured an 8-hour torture in the hands of his captives, as described by the ABC news. The words "rat" and "dog" were carved in his back.

"Pedo" was spelled out in his brows, reported the Daily Telegraph.

He was tied, kicked, stabbed and burned too.

The gruesome crime, which was heard at the Victorian Supreme Court, happened in at a North Melbourne unit last October 9.

Earlier that day, he was at Crown casino for a drink. It was there where he met one of his captives, Walkey.

He smoked cannabis and ice with Walkey and other companions, namely Phat Truong and Joshua Bryant Dawson.

Drug debt was the issue that led to Gable's unfortunate fate. Tania Smith claimed that Gable owed her the payment for the drugs.

Phat Tuan Truong, Joshua Bryant Dawson and Jason Joshua Manneken aka Jason Walkley, are already ordered to serve jail sentence for the crime.

Troung has 10 years and 3 months to spend behind bars while Walkey has 9 years and 2 months. Dawson was sentenced to a seven year imprisonment.

In an earlier report by the Daily Telegraph, another assaulter, Tania Smith also pleaded guilty together with the three men. While the three have already been charged, Smith is scheduled for a further hearing for the crime.

Justice David Beach who said that the horrible incident will leave a lasting impact on Gable's life echoed the sentiment of the victim.

"I believe they were going to kill me," Gable was quoted as saying.

"My personality has been changed."
