Charges have been dropped against Brad Pitt regarding the alleged incident that happened with him and his son Maddox. It was reported that Pitt had an altercation with his eldest son when he apparently lost his temper during an argument. The clash between Pitt and his son happened a few days before Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on Sep. 19.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation will not push through with its investigation as well as the charges that might be filed against Pitt.

“In response to allegations made following a flight within the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States which landed in Los Angeles carrying Mr Brad Pitt and his children, the FBI has conducted a review of the circumstances and will not pursue further investigation,” said Laura Eimiller, a spokeswoman for the FBI, during an interview with the Press Association.

Back in September, the FBI said that they were still in the process of gathering facts about the incident and evaluating what happened. During the investigation, the FBI assessed whether there will be an investigation that will be conducted in the federal level. An inquiry was also made to look into the matter whether Brad was abusive with his children or not.

The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services announced that the charges against Pitt were cleared. After all the inquiries made, they found out that Pitt had no history of being an abusive father and that he didn’t commit anything that would result to him being charged with child abuse.

Angelina Jolie's rep said that the actress was relieved now that all of the investigation is over. Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt on grounds of irreconcilable differences in September. She also requested and asked the court that she be awarded with the full custody of all their children. Pitt filed a petition that he be given joint and legal custody. Jolie was firm with having the full custody and just gave Pitt visitation rights. The ex-couple have six children, namely Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh Nouvel and the twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.
