Known for his role as Clay Morrow in FX biker drama series “Sons of Anarchy,” Ron Perlman is back on the small screen as Luther Braxton in “The Blacklist” Season 2. The “Pacific Rim” star is set to have a face-off with fellow veteran actor James Spader, who plays Raymond Reddington in NBC's drama series.

The hit show is returning on Super-Bowl Sunday and will be moving to its new timeslot on Thursdays. “The Blacklist” Season 2, episode 9, “Luther Braxton,” features the “Sons of Anarchy” star as the villainous character from Reddington’s past. They get reunited at a secret government detention facility where federal agents have chained Braxton up.

The two-part episode is going to be a huge one with jam-packed action, teasers and “perhaps some big reveals.” Red and Liz’s lives will be in danger. Based on the show’s spoilers, Braxton is Red’s “worst nightmare,” as the thief shares a complicated history with the show’s lead star.

“He is a notorious thief, killer and someone that you never want to cross paths and mess with,” according Monsters and Critics. Considering Red’s previous enemies, Braxton could be one of his ultimate adversaries. Red will find it difficult to get out of the facility. Ressler and another task force member are taken as hostages.

Meanwhile, the 64-year-old actor recently starred in the new Amazon series “Hand of God” with Dana Delany. He played “a hard-living, law-bending married judge who suffers a mental breakdown.” Believing that his visions and messages are being sent by God through his ventilator-bound son, the morally-corrupt judge goes on a vigilante quest to find the rapist who tore his family apart.

“The Blacklist” Season 2 also stars Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix, Amir Arison and Mozhan Marno.
