“Better Call Saul” season 3 will bring back Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring on TV, as confirmed previously. The 58-year-old actor has started filming for the show. He recently posted his picture from the sets of the show to tease fans, and wrote along with it, “Time to get back to work.”

He seems to be shooting inside the Los Pollos Hermanos, a fictional restaurant owned by Gus Fring in “Breaking Bad.” Several boxes reading the name of the restaurant are stacked behind on a table while Esposito is holding one of them in his hands. Esposito poses in his popular dead-pan-eye look. (See the picture below.)

The picture has raised the expectation level of the audience. They cannot wait for the season to air on TV soon. Season 3 will not air in February like in previous seasons. This year, the makers have decided to air in April instead. It has now been confirmed that season 3 of the show will be launched on April 10.

“Better Call Saul” season 3 will observe Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) gradually turning into Saul Goodman of “Breaking Bad.” It will show the journey of Jimmy to becoming the criminal lawyer.

Giancarlo Esposito (Gus Fring) will be introduced in the show as a businessman who owns the fast food restaurant and a laundry facility called Lavanderia Brillante, which he would later use to front a vast drug operation. The third season will show his journey from a legitimate businessman to a drug dealer.

“We are at a time when he is a little more immature. He’s still finding his way. Gus is a very cagey character,” Esposito said about his character at the Television Critics Association (TCA) 2017 winter press tour. (Read more on the link below.)

Meanwhile, the official Twitter handle of the show has hinted that another character from “Breaking Bad” will return to the show. While several theories suggest that it can be Dean Norris (Hank Schrader), Aaron Paul’s (Jessi Pinkman) name is also doing the rounds, especially after he neither confirmed nor ruled out the possibility of returning as Jessi Pinkman, during his appearance on “The Ellen Show.”

“Better Call Saul” season 3 will premiere on AMC at 10PM ET on April 10. The show is streamed on Stan in Australia. The streaming company has not announced about the third season yet.
