Few details have been revealed so far regarding Jason Momoa’s role as Aquaman in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Regardless of what’s in store for the character, Jason Momoa has no doubt he will be sticking with his role for as long as it’s needed, be it in “BVS” or in his future solo film.

In a brief video interview with The Associated Press, the former “Game of Thrones” star said he’s “in for the long haul” playing as King of Atlantis. Jason Momoa admitted that it’s an honour to be playing Aquaman in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,” saying movie director Zack Snyder “had me at hello” when he was offered the role.

Jason Momoa didn’t go into details about his role as Aquaman in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” nor did he reveal any plans for his future solo film. But according to Comicbookmovie, he certainly seemed very thrilled to be a part of the DC Universe even though he admitted that a screenplay has yet to be made for his character. "There’s no script written yet for certain things, but I listen to his [Zack Snyder] ideas," he said. Momoa revealed he has full confidence in Snyder’s plans for Aquaman.

However, for Jason Momoa playing the role of Aquaman in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” and in his future solo film is said to be a good thing for his children. The actor, who has two kids ages six and seven, admitted it would be cool for his children to finally see his movies. “I’m known for playing rough characters and they’re not really allowed to see those things, so it’s going to be exciting just for my kids to see poppa play with Batman and Wonder Woman and Superman and so on,” he added.

According to Screenrant, Jason Momoa’s interview also gave a hint as to when Aquaman will next make his cameo appearance before his solo film in July 27, 2018. Aquaman will make his debut in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” on March 25, 2016. However, Momoa hinted he may also be seen in the June 23, 2017 film “Justice League” when he said his children wouldn’t mind waiting to see him in “Justice League” because of “BVS.”
