In episode 17 of "The Bachelor Australia" Season 2, the eliminated 26 bachelorettes returned to see clippings of their time on the show and explain some of their outbursts and strange behaviour on the show. Anita saw her hunter avatar of episode 1 and was embarrassed. Anita said that she cannot sing and what she did on the show was just to put herself out there. Dianne said that the whole set up was like a fairytale and that made her believe that Blake was her prince charming.

Laurina and Amber saw the clippings of their ugly fights. Amber said that she is hot-headed, not in many words but there was finally an apology tucked in her explanation. Laurina saw the clippings and said that she felt misunderstood. Amber said that initially there was a misconception about why Laurina was on the show and as they came to know Laurina more, they could see another side of her. Laurina set the record straight, saying that she was on the show to find love and had no other ulterior motive. She said that she is 31 and she also wishes to have babies, find love and live happily ever after.

Laurina revealed that it was an awkward situation for her when she and Blake went to the bowling alley, as she was not wearing her underwear. She felt that the street pie date was some kind of test for her. And if it was a test, she failed in that test. Laurina felt that the connection between her and Blake fizzled out at the end of the second date. Also, she said that she can eat a pie, adding that, "if I'm crazy famished I will get one from the servo and I will eat it in the car and I'll get the pastry all over me."

Amber saw the clippings of her outburst and called herself a drama-queen. She told Osher and the girls that she is a passionate person and that she is not someone to hold it back. Canadian Amber is open to falling in love with an Australian guy, as they are into family.

Zoe, who was eliminated in the last episode before the reunion, admitted that it was still raw for her, as she was on the verge of falling in love with Blake. But, she had no hard feelings, as according to her "the heart wants what the heart wants." Chantal said that as her and Blake's connection was not nurtured after their date, her feelings for him never became strong.

The girls saw the moments between Jessica and Blake. Jessica had come back from her first date and had said that she and Blake did not kiss. The first kiss of the season was shown to the girls, which caught most of the girls by surprise but they understood why Jessica felt the need to not talk about it. A majority of the girls saw magic in their clippings and felt that it was love on the first date. Anita said that she saw the connection between Blake and Jessica from the start.

Chantal was rooting for Sam to win Blake's heart. Katrina, too, wanted Sam to win but she felt that it is Jess who would win. Dianne wanted her friend Louise to get Blake's proposal, but like Katrina, she also felt that it is Jess who will win Blake's heart.
