Arnie jokes have stormed various social networking sites following the admission of the former governor that not only had he slept with another woman but he had also fathered a child.

Though his recent admission of adultery is no laughing matter, as his wife claims it was 'painful and heartbreaking', Arnie jokes have inevitably erupted on Twitter.

Most of these jokes were an allusion to his roles in films he was best known for like 'True Lies' and 'Terminator'.

Here are some of the jokes that erupted on Twitter according to The Los Angeles Times citing an article by Tony Pierce.

It could have been just another meal with the media mogul, who was joined by her partner Stedman Graham and best friend, Gayle King. But being with Oprah, who is best known to represent women and whom every woman in America and in the world has had likely wished to be in her company during difficulties, Maria Shriver represents these women following her highly scrutinized separation from husband of 25 years.
