"American Idol XIV" 2015’s episode titled “Top 7 Perform: Billboard Hot 100 Hits” aired on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 8/7c on the Fox TV Network. The remaining finalists performed various hit songs from the Billboard Hot 100 chart including “Poker Face” by Lady Gaga and “Latch” by Disclosure featuring Sam Smith.

Florida Georgia Line and Jason Derulo were the guest mentors for Jax, Quentin, Nick, Joey, Rayvon, Qaasim, Tyanna and Clark. Unfortunately, 19-year-old Qaasim Middleton got eliminated in this episode.

Middleton was saved by Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick, Jr. and Keith Urban from getting eliminated during the second week of the "American Idol XIV" 2015’s “Top 11 - Party Songs” episode. But this time, luck wasn’t on his side. He was on the bottom two with fellow contestant Rayvon Owen.

Middleton sang "Hey Ya!" by OutKast while Owen sang "Set Fire to the Rain" by Adele. In the end, it was Owen who received the Twitter Fan Save and became part of the show’s Top 7 for 2015.
