Expectations for the next generation of HTC's flagship smartphone in 2016 are soaring high, especially with the rumour mill indicating that HTC will be launching its successor to the One M9 soon in the coming month. In fact, leaked photos of the HTC 10 have surfaced online which points to a probable release date of April 19.

Code-named “Perfume,” the HTC One M10 is also said to be named the HTC 10, and will be equipped to take on the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S7, LG G5 and Xiaomi Mi 5.

The Taiwanese tech giant already posted the first teaser of the HTC One M10 on its official Twitter account last month, but for the past few weeks have seen noted leaksters @OnLeaks and @Evleaks share a series of new leaked renders revealing the key specs of the HTC 10 (One M10).

These recently leaked images of the HTC 10 suggest an inclusion of additional colour variants such as Black and White front panels. According to a report by GSM Arena, the HTC 10 may borrow its colour palette from the HTC One A9, which might have considerable influence on the design of the upcoming flagship.
