The holiday season of 2015 saw numerous Xbox One bundles that offered Xbox One exclusives and other AAA games with Microsoft’s console. With the New Year, the company has extended its bundle offers with two new ones for 2016.

Over at the Xbox Wire, Microsoft detailed what comes with the two new bundles. It appears that this is the company’s way of allowing more gamers to get into the groove of the Xbox One in time for the release of its upcoming titles this year.

The first bundle is the Xbox One “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege” Bundle. Formed following a partnership with Ubisoft, the bundle shows of the 1TB Xbox One alongside a physical copy of “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege,” and downloads for “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas” and “Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2” as backward compatible titles.

The full-game downloads for the latter two games are only offered for select 35 areas, which includes Australia, New Zealand and the US. Additionally, this Xbox One bundle is also only available in key areas, except for Belgium, China, France, Japan and Netherlands.

Microsoft is also offering the Xbox One 500GB Name Your Game Bundle. As the bundle’s name suggests, players are given the choice of which title they can avail of from the following: “Forza Motorsport 6,” “Rise of the Tomb Raider,” “Gears of War: Ultimate Edition” or “Rare Replay.

This bundle is expected to hit Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., Germany, Ireland and Mexico on Jan. 12. For the US, Brazil and Canada, Microsoft has yet to provide a date, though there is mention that shipping will start late January. The first bundle costs US$399 (approx. AU$567), while the Name Your Game bundle runs at US$349 (approx. AU$495).

Apart from the bundles, Microsoft has also announced the new Weekly Deals with Gold for Xbox Live Gold members. According to Major Nelson’s blog, the games and expansions will be available with their respective discounts until Jan. 11.

On the Xbox One, “Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris” and “Badland: GOTY Edition” are leading the pack at big discounts of 75 percent and 67 percent respectively. Those who haven’t gotten a copy of “Star Wars Battlefront” can do so now in different editions. The Deals with Gold is offering the Deluxe Edition and Standard Edition (33 percent discount), as well as the Ultimate Edition (25 percent discount).
