The Legion companion app was first showcased at the PAX West. As per the official World of Warcraft website, the Legion app will let players browse World Quests while they are away from the main game.

It’s also useful for managing Order Advancement system to equip two legendaries of abilities at the same time. There are also some perks to using the companion app, which lets players acquire pets, toys and other artifacts.

The Legion app also lets player manage champion equipment, train new troops, send champions and troops to missions, as in the Class Hall campaign and see and filter the rewards for quests. Additionally, players who reach level 10 can be given a quest that will unlock World Quests.

“These are a new type of dynamic outdoor quest content, which you can browse in-game by opening your map. When you open the Legion Companion App, you’ll see a similar map of the Broken Isles. If your character has unlocked the World Quests, you’ll be able to zoom in on the map to see all of the World Quests that are currently available,” said the developer in the official trailer.

All the activities and progress that one does in the Legion app is saved and carried over. Since it is supported by the Battle.net authenticator, so there’s no need to keep logging back. However, fans need to note that the main game and the companion app cannot be logged in at the same time, as it uses the same login.

The World of Warcraft: Legion” companion app will require the Legion expansion, an active “World of Warcraft” subscription, and at least one character of the appropriate level. To know if all of the conditions are met, players can use the app and see if they are able to select any characters. Being unable to do so means that there is at least one condition unmet.

The Legion app comes with 11 languages supported, including English, Deutsch, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Français, Korean and Chinese.
