Will Lady Stoneheart be able to exact revenge in "Winds of Winter"? How will she go about taking her revenge on her enemies? These are some of the questions that fans of George R. R. Martin's book series are wondering about. Here is a look at some of the fan predictions on the subject. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

Lady Stoneheart has been busy killing all the Lannisters, Boltons and Freys that she can find. Her thirst for vengeance is so great that it does not matter to her whether the people she is killing actually had anything to do with the Red Wedding. But can she carry out a massacre on the same scale as the Red Wedding? How will she be able to reach the masterminds behind her son's death?

One possibility is to use Jamie Lannister to set up a trap for the Freys or the other Houses that Lady Stoneheart wants to destroy. Some of the fans at the Westeros forum predict that Jamie may play a crucial role in the revenge against the Freys.

Readers who have been following the book series know that Brienne of Tarth was captured by Lady Stoneheart and her men in "A Fest for Crows." She was compelled to choose between death and killing Jaime. Will Brienne lure Jamie to his death in "Winds of Winter"? Some of the fans speculate that Jamie may be kept alive till he helps in killing the Freys.

Some of the fans believe that even after helping Lady Stoneheart, Jamie may not be able to escape death eventually. The hate that she has for the Lannisters may mean that either she or Jamie will be killed.

One of the fans, however, points out that Lady Stoneheart may regain some of her lost humanity if she is reunited with her daughters Sansa and Arya. Another theory talks about her emerging as a strong ally of Daenerys Targaryen when she returns to Westeros. Both characters are seen as mothers and may end up fighting their common enemies together.

No matter what choices Lady Stoneheart makes, she will be a crucial character in "Winds of Winter." Fans of the franchise are eager to see the complex relationship among Brienne, Jaime and Lady Stoneheart develop in the upcoming book. Will Brienne stay loyal because of the oath she took or will she side with Jaime? Fans will also want to know if the upcoming book will mark the end of the House Frey.
