Two important characters that fans look forward to reading about in "Winds of Winter" are Sansa Stark and Petyr Baelish. The two characters are central to the twists that happened in King's Landing and may play an important role in the future power struggles both at the Vale and Winterfell. Here is a look at some of the fan theories and predictions involving the two characters. [Spoiler Alert]

Over the years Petyr Baelish has grown his personal wealth and social standing. He now has eyes on becoming the lord of Winterfell through Sansa while keeping his grip on the Vale. Some of the members of Westeros forum speculate that his lust for Sansa Stark may be his undoing in the end.

Fans speculate that Petyr Baelish will force himself on Sansa once she loses value as a political bargaining chip for Winterfell. This may become possible if Jon Snow or Rickon Stark become Lord of Winterfell and consequently Sansa losing her chance to rule the north. Some fans believe that Sansa will end up killing Petyr Baelish when he tries to force himself on her in "Winds of Winter."

The discussion is a reaction to a theory posed by a user in the social media Web site Reddit. According to a theory in the discussion, Petyr Baelish will arrange for the wedding between Sansa Stark and Harrold Hardying. During the festivities one of Petyr's agents will kill Robert Arryn and the blame will fall on Harrold, who is next in line to the position of Lord of the Eyrie anf Protector of the Vale.

Reacting to the predictions of Sansa killing Petyr Baelish, some of the fans point out that it has not been in Sansa's nature to kill people, even those she hates the most. She would rather have someone else kill her enemies. Will Sansa reveal Petyr's secrets to the other lords at the Vale and have them do the killing?

"Winds of Winter" will decide the future of many characters and fans are eager to see what happens in the north. Stannis Baratheon will be engaging in battle against Ramsay Bolton and Davos has gone in search of Rickon Stark, who may be groomed to be the Lord of Winterfell.
