'Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers: Promo Video And Synopsis For Episode 9 Titled ‘I Alone’ Tease Continuation Of Mission To Bring Bonnie Back [WATCH]
It is now up to the Mystic Falls gang, with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) leading, to bring back Bonnie (Kat Graham) in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 9 titled "I Alone." The synopsis and promo video for the upcoming episode tease that the mission to bring back Bonnie will still continue.
According to an Examiner report, the CW Network released "The Vampire Diaries," 6x09, "I Alone" promo video on Thursday, Nov. 20, to tease that Damon is doing everything he can to rescue the Bennett witch. The promo video begins with Elena telling her brother, Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), about their mission of bringing Bonnie back.
However, the synopsis for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 9 in a Carter Matt report revealed that Elena will be caught off guard with Jeremy's reaction to the hopeful news about Bonnie. Additionally, Damon Salvatore, the person who will do everything that he can to bring Bonnie back, will find himself in hot water because he carries out a plan with Alaric's (Matt Davis) unwilling participation.
As a recap, Damon compelled his best friend to get the Ascendant from Jo (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) in episode 8 titled "Fade Into You" since it is the key that can bring Bonnie back. However, it also means Kai (Chris Wood) will be able to leave his 1994 prison and get back at the Gemini coven who trapped him there.
The ending scene in the promo video shows Elena apologizing to Damon for erasing her memories of loving him but the Salvatore vampire promises that the two of them are going to make new ones. Watch the promo video below.
Other details in the synopsis teased that Liv (Penelope Mitchell) will Damon and Elena in bringing Bonnie back but things will take an unexpected turn to the witch is left with a difficult decision to make, Matt (Zach Roerig) will be taking matters into his own hands after Enzo's (Michael Malarkey) action crosses the line and psychopathic witch Kai will continue to be a dangerous threat.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 9 titled "I Alone" is scheduled to air on Thursday night, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
