Christian Grey is a name known in almost every household in America, Australia and the UK today.

The main character in a best-selling novel, Grey has been dubbed the epitome of testosterone perfection by his fans and readers. This would fairly explain why a lot of Hollywood celebrities are lining up to play the role of the 27-year old brooding and handsome entrepreneur.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" has taken the world by storm and it still continues to do so. With over 10 billion in sales and rising, the number of addicted fans equally increases by the minute. Why are the books even popular? Well, E.L. James' novel has opened up a world a few authors failed to explore. From chains to ropes, "Fifty Shades" is an S&M filled story unlike any other.

Despite the scandalous role, a lot of men in tinsel town have spoken up their dire need to play the lead of Christian Grey. The first one to have expressed interest over the novel would be "Vampire Diaries" star, Ian Somerhalder.

"I absolutely would be up for that. I have the book and I just started reading it," said Ian.

"That would be a pretty incredible thing, and hopefully that could pan out. Yes, beyond the shadow of a doubt I think that would be a phenomenal opportunity!" added the actor.

In fact, Ian has already started an online campaign alongside writer, Bret Easton Ellis, to getting the role of Christian Grey. Also in the list is another hunk and hot vampire from "True Blood," Alexander Skarsgard.

"Where do I sign? He's got a sex chamber? My character [Eric Northman] has that on 'True Blood.' He's got his little dungeon. I was born to play that part," said Skarsgard. The actor's name has been on a few polls and is actually in the lead as fan pick for Christian Grey.

"The Client List's" Colin Egglesfield may have not yet read the books but he has heard of it and he wants to be in it. Another actor who finds the role particularly interesting is Chris Pine.

"It'd be a hell of a choice for me, I think. It sounds like an interesting film," shared Pine.

With only four actors who have spoken up on actually wanting to play the role, who among them really has the potential to play the perfect, Christian Grey?
