The automated hunting cameras that were set up on the property of couple Edith and Rainer Shattles in Jackson County, Mississippi recorded the strange UFO lights that appeared close to the Cumbest Bluff hunting area. The UFO sighting footage captured on the evening of February 16, 2014 showed a deer outlined by the strange lights coming from the unidentified flying object.

According to the Inquisitr report, the trail cameras were set off by a deer's movement and started to record at about 7:20 pm with only a dim light. The light became brighter like a spotlight after a number of deer appeared in the area.

The video was described to be weird since the deer were brightly lit up but the cameras use infrared without the need to use any lights in order to make a video recording. At around 7:56 pm, a shape suddenly appeared followed by the strange floating lights.

There are no roads nearby so the lights cannot be pointed to a vehicle's headlight. Couple Edith and Rainer Shattles could not explain the UFO sighting captured on their trail cameras featuring a deer.

The owners shared that "unusual things" occur in the area but they often laugh at it explaining how their grandchildren love to make pranks. However, the Shattles assured that their grandkids had nothing to do with the deer UFO sighting.

Rainer Shattles admitted to WLOX News that the video footage definitely showed a UFO. "Now whether it's a government drone or what, I wish if nothing else, one of them would step up and say, 'Yes, that's ours.' It's a puzzle that may never be solved and it's one that's kind of fun, adds a little flavor to life, I guess you could say. We are just fascinated over it because of the fact that it was right here and it's real," Mr Shattles explained. The couple tried to give reasonable answers as to what the object is in the video but they still end up getting confused for it was something that they have never encountered in the past. According to the fox8.com report, the couple's neighbors and friends were also not able to give an explanation to the strange lights but they are still trying to get to the bottom of the mysterious UFO sighting whether it is indeed a UFO or a drone.
