The Liam-Hayden rescue plan worked in the previous episode titled “Ouroboros” but the Dread Doctors will still return to complete their chimera experiments in “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 9 titled “Lies of Omission.” The upcoming episode’s synopsis and promo video teased that Scott McCall, played by Tyler Posey, and his pack will be in danger from the existing threat of the Dread Doctors and the arrival of the Desert Wolf, played by Marisol Nichols. “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 9 will air on Monday night, Aug. 17, at 10/9c on MTV.

Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major “Teen Wolf” Season 5” spoilers.

The upcoming episode’s synopsis in a Carter Matt report teased that Scott will approach an unlikely ally for help. The promo video teased that there is something bad coming but Scott and his pack have no idea what it is or how bad it will be.

Hayden Romero, played by Victoria Moroles, is worried that the Dread Doctors are coming back for her. Meanwhile, the synopsis further teased that Stiles Stilinski, played by Dylan O’Brien, and Lydia Martin, played by Holland Roden, will seek the truth about Deputy Parrish, played by Ryan Kelley.

In the previous episode, Stiles and Lydia found out that Deputy Parrish is responsible for the missing bodies of supernatural creatures. Lydia told Stiles that she knows where Deputy Parrish takes the dead bodies.

The flashback scenes in “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 4 titled “Condition Terminal” revealed that Deputy Parrish has been taking dead bodies to the Nemeton. “Teen Wolf” cast member Ryan Kelley admitted in an interview with TVLine that his character is sort of in a limbo at the moment.

“You see him carrying these bodies and you’re not sure if he’s working with the Doctors or not. We’ve been getting more questions about Parrish, rather than answers,” Kelley said in the TVLine interview. When asked if Deputy Parrish is a good guy or a villain, Kelley thinks his “Teen Wolf” character is one of the good guys.

However, Kelley admitted that it would be interesting for Deputy Parrish to be the next big bad villain of the MTV series. “I’m OK with him being evil, as long as I live. I just don’t want to get killed off,” Kelley told TVLine.
