Previous leaks about “Star Wars: Episode 8” suggested that there will be a casino scene in the film, with the possibility of Luke Skywalker being involved. A new theory about the movie examines what the Jedi Master may be doing there.

[Spoiler alert]

When pictures from the set at Dubrovnik leaked online there was a lot of speculation about what it was. When the set started to take shape and the fans saw the fancy lighting and the doors; it was clear that there may be a scene that is similar to the cantina scene from the original trilogy.

‘Star Wars: Episode 8’: Luke Skywalker looking for someone

In a new video posted on YouTube, Mike Zeroh points out that there have been reports that the interior shots for this scene were filmed in the Pinewoods Studio in London. The scene reportedly involves Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) going inside a casino, which is filled with aliens. The aliens featured here are said to be a lot more than those seen in the cantina in “A New Hope” as well as the Maz Kanata (Lupita Nyong’o) scene in “The Force Awakens.”

Luke Skywalker will reportedly go into this casino to question people or aliens there. He is apparently looking for the whereabouts of someone. So, the question is who is this person that the Jedi Master is looking for and why?

‘Star Wars: Episode 8’: Lando Calrissian cameo

Mike points to fan speculation about Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams) having a cameo appearance in the film, and this could be the person that Luke is looking for. The theory is that since the veteran character is a gambler, it is logical that he will be found in a casino.

Lando may be seen as the owner of the casino in “Star Wars: Episode 8.” He may help Luke with information of objects that would help the Jedi Master get to Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).
