Samsung Electronics, the world's largest smartphone manufacturer has unveiled its latest phone, the Samsung Galaxy S3 in Korea.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 released in Korea is a bit different as compared to the Samsung Galaxy S3 released in other parts of the world. The Samsung Galaxy S III in Korea differs slightly in terms of thickness wherein the Korean version has 9mm measurement in thickness. This is slightly bigger if compared to the first version of Samsung Galaxy S3 that was first released. Aside from that, the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE version utilizes a quad-core processor instead of the dual-core processor in other countries. This quad-core processor enables the Galaxy S III to run several applications at the same time with fast speed.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 also offers free and paid content which is only available in Korea like "video hub" with access to 500 movies or TV and "learning hub" for educational content. Samsung Galaxy S III in Korea also has several new features such as "Smart Stay", "Direct Call", and "S-voice". The "S-voice" is a feature that allows apps to be activated by voice. These apps include dialing, alarm, camera, music player, Internet search and scheduling.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 3G was the first one to be released while the Samsung Galaxy S III LTE will be released in July. The Samsung Galaxy S3 was first released in London and other countries would soon follow.

The reviews about the Samsung Galaxy S3 has been positive with many users satisfied with its performance and features. Samsung also expressed high expectations regarding Samsung Galaxy S3's place in the market. JK Shin, the telecommunications chief for Samsung revealed that the company is hoping to achieve 10 million units of sale by the month of July. Prseently, Samsung revealed that the company already had 52 million units of Samsung Galaxy S smartphones have been shipped ever since it was revealed to the public last 2010.
