Good news to all Foo Fighters fans, according to their representative, the band is "definitely not breaking up."

After finishing a set at the Global Music Festival last Saturday night, frontman Dave Grohl made it clear to their fans that it would take a "while" before the band performs together again on stage. The music man revealed the news to the 60,000 audience who saw their performance at the Central Park in New York.

"This is it, man. We don't have any [shows] after this. This is the show where we come out and we play as many songs as we can in a short period of time, because honestly, I don't know when we're going to do it again," the singer said.

With speculations that the band might be breaking up, MTV contacted the band's representative to confirm if the news were true. The spokesperson then clarified the rumors that were brought about by Grohl's statement and said, "They are definitely not breaking up." All the band's fans can now calmly exhale.

Although the representative did not comment about how the band will rest, he assured that the band is still together. It wasn't the first time that the Foo Fighters were rumored to be breaking up. Grohl made a similar comment while the band performed at England's Reading Festival last August. Later on, Dave cleared everything with his post on social networking site, Twitter.

"Relax ... I was talking TO England ABOUT England ... stop eavesdropping Internets!"

Although Dave doesn't have any upcoming schedule together with the band, the singer still keeps himself busy. He is said to be putting the finishing touches for his documentary "Sound City" which is, as always, "coming soon."
