It was recently announced that “Disney Infinity 3.0” would feature characters and locations from the beloved “Star Wars” franchise, some of which will be from the new “Force Unleashed” film. Now, fans of “Star Wars” will be delighted to hear that they will be able to relive classic “Star Wars” moments – while also making some new ones – in “Disney Infinity 3.0.”

A report from Game Informer has confirmed that “Star Wars” fans will be able to relive moments, like the destruction of the Death Star in “Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope,” along with a number of fan-favorite space battles. The “Star Wars” set is being developed by Gobo, a company that also worked on the “Guardians of the Galaxy” set of “Disney Infinity 2.0,” and is hoping to pay homage to the original “Star Wars” trilogy with this set.

That being said, the space battles weren’t the only exciting moments of the original trilogy. Fans have fond memories of the exciting chase scene in Tatooine and the massive AT-AT battle on the snowy planet of Hoth. Fans will be able to experience these moments as well, taking part in plenty of vehicular combat.

Of course, the original trilogy won’t be the only “Star Wars” material the fans will see in “Disney Infinity 3.0,” as Forbes has also confirmed sets based on the critically acclaimed “Clone Wars” cartoon, along with the upcoming “Force Unleashed” film. Characters like Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano will be joining Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia for the ultimate “Star Wars” experience.

Interestingly enough, the “Clone Wars” set will be developed by game studio Ninja Theory, who worked on the rebooted “Devil May Cry” game. It’s still unclear, as to which developer will be working on the “Force Unleashed” set, though two characters called Rey and Finn will be part of the package, while also presumably being in the new “Star Wars” film.

“Disney Infinity 3.0” will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game, along with its sets, is set to arrive this fall for the aforementioned consoles.
