Nintendo has announced a sequel to the 3DS puzzler "Pushmo" that will make its debut in North America and Europe this coming June.

If you are not familiar with the "Pushmo World" game just yet, you are not alone as the "Pushmo World" is the newest game that Nintendo just recently announced. It is one of the best new IPs Nintendo released with its puzzle design and general cleverness and it is now leaving the Nintendo 3DS and moving to the Wii U.

The next best thing about the "Pushmo World" release date is that it is not very far away. The game is expected to hit the Wii U eShop on June 19, which is less than a month away. The game will be available for $9.99, which is notably more than the two 3DS Games, Pushmo and Crashmo, both of which are going to be on sale until the release date.

Anyway, "Pushmo World" will be released with a whole stack of new features, but it is clearly the same fundamental game as Pushmo. For example, blocks still seem to be immune to gravity. The new game will feature 250 new puzzles, which is the biggest draw for longterm fans of the series.

Moreover, it will have the new "World Pushmo Fair," which makes it relatively easy to play and share user-created levels, which had been a bit of a problem in previous games. According to the official Web site of the game, it will include "Mysterious Pushmo" that add new gameplay twist, like timed blocks and yin-yang blocks.

For fans who are eager to play the game, do not be fooled by the cute graphics of "Pushmo World," as these games are a serious challenge. Since they are thought puzzles, they are pretty good for kids and good for adults as well, for the same reason that they are thought puzzles.

"Pushmo" on 3DS can be an extremely satisfying and fun game but lo and behold, until the later levels, which can be infuriating because it is so deceptively simple. It appears to be an easy game but it is not as easy as it is cute.
