Though the NBA lockout ended this weekend, there are still things that have stirred the pot post-lockout. Case in point: a reporter asked President Barrack Obama about his thoughts on the deal that was cut.

The commander-in-chief reportedly answered economically (and perhaps a bit cryptically?) that it was a "good deal."

Many would beg to differ (on this, and one would suppose on a multitude of other issues like health care and the Occupy movement) from the president's take on that situation as the collective opinion is that it's only a good deal for the owners, a good enough deal for fans but quite terrible for the players. Suffice it to say that the lockout had mixed reviews.

Anyway, not long after his remark, Obama was spotted carrying Under Armour shoes -- shoes as yet unreleased that bear the presidential seal on the tongue. I guess that's just one of the perks of the job, getting free shoes that aren't even available to the public yet.

"They're actually samples of a model releasing in 2012. They have the same tooling as the Lite/Clutch/Funk. He's the same size as Brandon Jennings (11), so I guess they slide him samples here and there. Pays to be the president, apparently," quips Nick DePaula of Sole Collector, a noted resource on all things trainers and sneakers.

Perhaps that was the good deal that the president was referring to. Even after being identified as a true blue Chicago Bulls fan, he's still diplomatic enough to sport the same shoes as the point guard of the Milwaukee Bucks. Sports fans have also commented that perhaps it's his way of removing himself from his borderline divisive policies. If it is, it's certainly working.
