'Power' Season 3 episode 9 preview and synopsis: James makes a 'bold' move

A preview video and the synopsis of “Power” Season 3 episode 9 have been released online by Starz. According to synopsis James will make a “bold” move to take back control of his club. Meanwhile, the challenges remain; especially when it comes to Kanan.

According to the synopsis of the next episode, James (Omari Hardwick) will make “a bold move to regain the club deal with the Bassets.” The club has mostly been infiltrated by Milan’s (Callan Mulvey) men, so Ghost has a plan to handle this situation as well.

In the previous episode Ghost got Ruiz (Luis Antonio Ramos) to get the Justice Department involved by going to Agent Greg (Andy Bean). The preview video of the next episode shows Ruiz wearing a wire to a meeting with the drugs supplier.

On the family side James continues to face problems. Tasha (Naturi Naughton) suspects something and the preview video of “Power” Season 3 episode 9 shows her telling someone on the phone that they need to find out more about what her husband is up to.

The person Tasha is talking to appears to be Tommy (Joseph Sikora). In the previous episode James found out that he can no longer trust his best friend. Milan had previously promised Tommy that he could rise up in the ranks of his organisation.

In the next episode the Serbian will warn Tommy about the consequences of betraying him. The villain already suspects that Ghost is up to something, but is not sure what his plans are.

The biggest threat to Ghost in “Power” Season 3 episode 9 is still Kanan (50 Cent). According to the synopsis of the episode Kanan will have “an even darker influence” on Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.). As James is still not aware of the danger his son is in; this could come as a big shock when he finds out.
