The polar vortex is back and Canada is frozen once again. While Toronto and Ottawa are already in the -20 °C range, Canada already experienced as low as -30 °C on Tuesday.

The northwestern part of Ontario had some snow in the afternoon, CBC reports. The southern Lake Huron in Ontario remained clear mostly under Arctic high pressure. As far as weather predictions are concerned, temperatures are expected to remain cold even during the weekend. Even though it was around -20 °C in Ottawa and Toronto on Tuesday, Jay Scotland, CBC meteorologist, reported that it had felt much lower than that (around -30 °C).

According to reports, harsher weather conditions are expected in Atlantic Canada. On the other hand, Tuesday night and Wednesday will see one severe storm entering the Maritimes. Warnings of wind chill have also been issued from Kenora, Ontario, to Saguenay, Quebec, to the Niagara Region. Newfoundland is expected to see even stronger winds.

According to Mr Scotland, people may suffer from frostbite within minutes if their skin gets exposed to the wind chill. He suggested keeping children all "bundled up." Additionally, he also suggested keeping pets indoors. Mr Scotland said that blizzard warning had been issued for the most part of Nova Scotia, P.E.I. and eastern New Brunswick.

ABC News could not decide whether the extreme weather condition in Canada was due to polar vortex or natural winter. On the other hand, social media have gone crazy about the extreme cold in Canada and the United States.

"THERE'S GOING TO BE A SECOND RECKONING OF THE POLAR VORTEX TOMORROW. I'M NOT GONNA MAKE IT YOU GUYS. I'M JUST NOT GONNA MAKE IT," Twitter user JP wrote in all caps. Ryan Donovan made it more cinematic and tweeted, "Polar Vortex 2: This Time It's Personal." John Russell predicted, "So, Polar Vortex - you've frozen the entire country except Florida. What are you going to do next? I'm going to Disneyworld!"
