'Once Upon A Time' season 7: Zelena's fiancé cast

There’s a new cast member joining “Once Upon A Time” season 7 as Zelena’s (Rebecca Mader) fiancé. This is reportedly a guest appearance and not a recurring role.

Actor Kip Pardue has been cast as Chad, Entertainment Weekly reports. Chad is the fiancé of Kelly, the cursed alter ego of Zelena. Pardue has worked in movies like “Remember the Titans,” “The Rules of Attraction,” and “Driven,” as well as TV shows like “Runaways” and “Hawaii Five-O.”

Kelly works as a spin instructor in San Francisco. In the mid-season finale, the character was woken up from the curse by her sister Regina (Lana Parrilla), but she refused to leave because she had built a life for herself in the city. A strong reason for her refusal is her fiancé, who she plans to marry soon.

Chad has been described as a “clever, romantic guy who’s no stranger to grand gestures.” He’s someone who has a “cool head,” and he has the ability to remain patient and show compassion even if the world around him is turning upside down. The character description further suggests that Zelena will spill the beans eventually, and the generous and compassionate man may support Zelena. Will the two characters return to Hyperion Heights at a crucial moment and save the day?

As far as the plot is concerned, Ivy (Adelaide Kane) has been revealed to be the main villain along with Gothel (Emma Booth). Meanwhile, Victoria (Gabrielle Anwar) and Rumple (Robert Carlyle) have their own agenda.

The next episode of “Once Upon A Time” season 7 titled “Secret Garden” will air on March 2. The episode was directed by Parrilla. The producers are yet to release the plot synopsis, which will give a clue about where the show is headed.
