Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major “Once Upon a Time” Season 5 spoilers.

TVLine reports that an unnamed ABC spokesperson has confirmed the addition of Jonathan Whitesell and Kacey Rohl in “Once Upon a Time” Season 5. Whitesell and Rohl have been cast as new OUAT characters Hercules and Megara, respectively, in “Once Upon a Time” Season 5, episode 13 titled “Labor of Love.”

The report further teased that there will be flashback scenes in the same episode because “Just Go With It” actress Bailee Madison also returns as young Snow White. Hades is another character expected to appear in “Once Upon a Time” Season 5, episode 13.

“Ally McBeal” actor Greg Germann has also been cast as recurring character known as “The Distinguished Gentleman.” It is speculated that Gregmann’s character “The Distinguished Gentleman” is a code for Hades.

At the moment, “Once Upon a Time” Season 5 focuses on the storylines of the Dark Ones and the arrival of Zelena’s baby. Emma Swan/Dark Swan/Dark One (Jennifer Morrison) needed Zelena/Wicked Witch of the West (Rebecca Mader) in her plan so she picked up the pace on Zelena’s pregnancy resulting to the arrival of the baby.

OUAT cast member Lana Parrilla teased in an Entertainment Weekly (EW) report that her character Regina Mills/Evil Queen will really establish the rules after welcoming Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) and Zelena’s baby in “Once Upon a Time” Season 5, episode 8 titled “Birth.” Parrilla shared that Robin Hood can still see his daughter but under strict supervision.

Parrilla admitted that there is still a huge level of distrust when it comes to the Zelena-Regina relationship. Parrilla further added that Regina and Robin Hood’s new mission is to stop Zelena from taking her daughter back home to Oz and teach the child to be evil just like her.

As for Zelena’s fate in the show, Parrilla still hopes that Regina’s half-sister would come around and also become a hero so that the two could bond as siblings. “That’s a happy ending, and I just don’t know if they’re meant to have one,” Parrilla told EW.

“Once Upon a Time” Season 5 airs on Sunday nights at 8/7c on ABC. Whitesell and Rohl, who are currently set to guest star in one episode, will make their debut appearance in March 2016.
