After Nicki Minaj allegedly threatened to shoot Mariah Carey, the 42-year-old diva added some extra security.

As predicted, Mariah Carey and Nicki MInaj had an explosive argument recently during the American Idol auditions. With Nicki allegedly threatening to shoot Mariah if she had a gun, the diva decided to add more security.

Mariah contacted veteran talk show host Barbara Walters and on "The View" she shared the singer's concerns.

"She said she is very concerned, she's with her twins, she doesn't feel that anything would happen, but Nicki is unpredictable and Mariah says she can't take a chance and has hired extra security. Nicki has not apologized, but they were together in meetings during which Nicki said, 'I love you, but we might fight again!'" the host explained.

"Mariah said at this point she doesn't feel comfortable emotionally but she will continue with the show because she loves mentoring the contestants," Barbara continued.

Meanwhile, Nicki continued to post her rants on her Twitter account. In one of her tweets she boasted about the praises she's gotten from the "Idol" bosses. Then she once again threatened to continue the feud.

"I don't call tmz n Barbara Walters cuz I stand on my own two feet. Never needed an army. God is good. Insecurity is as cruel as the grave," Nicki tweeted.

"I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we've had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn," the eccentric singer continued with her rants.

On Wednesday however, their fellow judge Keith Urban voiced out his opinion about what happened.

"I love it, I gotta say. I love working with passionate people. I love artists. Everyone just sort of expressing themselves. It's a very alive and very invigorating work environment," he told on Extra.
