There is speculation in the media that Australian actress Margot Robbie and husband Tom Ackerley may be expecting their first baby. The “Suicide Squad” actress married Ackerley in a secret ceremony less than six months ago. An unnamed source told a media outlet that there is a possibility that Robbie might be already pregnant when she tied the knot.

“It’s so exciting — although she’s not really showing yet, so not many people have cottoned onto the news,” a source explained to NW magazine. “Given how far along we think she is, there’s definitely a chance she was [pregnant] at the wedding. We’re expecting an announcement any day now,” the source added, talking about Robbie's December wedding. However, it must be noted that neither Robbie nor Ackerley have made any official announcement or commented on the reports.

The couple, who first met on the set of Suite Francaise in 2013, have stuck to each other ever since. They tied the knot in a secret ceremony at Bryon Bay, Australia in the presence of close friends and family. It was a hush-hush affair, and everything we know about the wedding is from the pictures shared by the “The Wolf of Wall Street” actress on Instagram. The 26-year-old looked stunning in a bridal gown by French designer Oscar de la Renta and showed off the pictures of her diamond engagement ring, too.

Ackerley is a British assistant film director and the son of an estate agent. He studied film at Godalming College in Surrey. Within the first year of his relationship with Robbie, the couple launched their own film company, Lucky Chap Entertainment. She last appeared on the red carpet in January for the Marie Claire’s Image Maker Awards, where she wore a sexy black dress. If you look at her picture from the event, Robbie does not look like she has a pregnant belly back then.

The actress, who is very active on social media, also posted a selfie on March 28 where she is seen holding a chilled glass of champagne. If she was already pregnant during her wedding or even now, the picture of her posing with alcoholic drinks just does not support these rumours. It could also be possible that Robbie is just posing with the drink and not actually having it.
