Tom Ellis (Morningstar) has been hitting the gym recently to pack some muscles as he reprises his role for “Lucifer” season 4. The plot this time around will be about Chloe Decker’s (Lauren German) reaction to finding out the truth about her partner. There is also a new Biblical character being introduced.

Ellis shared a picture of his well-toned body online [see below]. The muscular look is a result of training two hours a day, six days a week, for three months. The actor apparently had a tailored diet that included drinking loads of water. The actor said that he can’t believe that he enjoys the gym now.

While Ellis has already managed to build a good physique, he is not done yet. “Nearly there,” the actor wrote in the post. All this training and muscle building appears to be specifically for the “Lucifer” TV series, and the actor teased this when he wrote “#DevilTraining” in the post.

The next season of “Lucifer” TV series will air on Netflix, after the network saved the show by picking it up at the last moment. It will be interesting to see what changes will be made to the show. The gym-toned body of Ellis certainly hints at the possibility of a few action packed episodes.

Apart from the action, there will be the trademark romance, naughtiness, and good old fashioned humour that has made the show such a hit among the fans. According to a report by CBR.com, the TV series will add a new character- Eve, from the Bible.

Eve has spent an eternity with Adam. She has grown restless and seeks some excitement in her life. She misses the Devil, who tempted her to eat the forbidden fruit all those years ago.

Ellis and Chloe are in love, but she will have to deal with the fact that her partner is really the Devil. Will Eve come in between the two lovebirds?
