LG G5 release date: Smartphone may be available on US Cellular from April 1

The LG G5 will hit the shores of the United States on April 1 through US Cellular, according to unofficial sources. Pre-order will supposedly begin on March 28. Earlier this month the company confirmed that its first modular smartphone along with ‘Friends’ will arrive in the US in early April.
From March 28 through April 17, the company will also offer a free battery, battery charging cradle and USB Type-C adapter with every pre-order of LG G5, according to Droid Life. The total value of the promotional deal will be $80.
However, US Cellular has not yet confirmed the official LG G5 price, pre-order and release date on their official website.
The report also mentioned that the smartphone will be priced at US$636 without any contract. Alternately, customers will have to pay US$26.50 per month for 24 months.

Powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 processor, the LG G5 sports a huge 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 2TB.
The LG G5 features a 2,800 mAh battery coupled with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 functionality which comes bundled with Snapdragon 820. The handset also includes a dual rear camera module with a standard 16-megapixel sensor along with an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens.
Other than US Cellular, LG’s latest flagship smartphone will be offered by major US carriers including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon, confirmed LG Electronics. Noted US retailers like Best Buy, Best Buy Mobile Stores and B&H will also ship the LG G5 in the US.
