There are many claims going around that Lamar Odom and Khloe's Kardashian's charity is a scam.

According to recent reports from the Amateur Athletic Union, they denied claims that Lamar's charity, Cathy's Charity, has donated to the organization. These strong claims could probably endanger Lamar and Khloe's credibility.

"Cathy's Kids has never donated to us. They have never, ever contributed to us," Henry Forrest said on TMZ . "On Sunday morning it was mentioned that Cathy's Kids has contributed to AAU Basketball teams, that is an incorrect statement."

But how did the two end up with this kind of trouble? Well Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian started a charity dedicated to people with cancer. The athlete called it Cathy's Kids to honor his late mother who died because of cancer. Supposedly, the charity raised $2 million.

But the bad news is, none of the money raised was actually donated to AAU team sponsorship as they claim. According to additional reports from ESPN Outside The Lines, nothing was donated to a cancer entity either. When asked about the issue, Lamar Odom simply said, "It's my money."

Although there is a document that states that the money raised was given to an "elite" youth basketball team, Forrest denied any involvement to such organizations.

"AAU doesn't have anything to do with local organizations that put together independent teams. We don't manage those teams or deal with those local teams put together. They only register to play," confirmed by Forrest.

Khloe Kardashian stood by her man and denied rumors that her husband is a scam artist. She said that Lamar personally contributed $2.2 million to charity.

"Cathy's Kids was formed with several purposes in mind, including benefitting underprivileged youth and cancer research," Khloe said. "A decision was ultimately made that the charity should focus on one of those purposes - to help enrich the lives of underprivileged inner-city youth. It accomplished that goal."
