CBS has made their decision to limit the audience of the gruesome broken leg injury suffered by Kevin Ware which was caught on video.

After just two initial replays, CBS has stopped playing the video footage that showed Louisville basketball player Kevin Ware breaking a leg during the first half of his team's NCAA against Duke. While lying on the court in pain, Ware's teammates surrounded him for support and some were even crying.

The game was stopped by several minutes as medical personnel tended to Ware. Around that time, the CBS replayed the footage of Ware when he suffered the broken leg for the viewers who missed it at home.

In a new report by Fox News they pointed out why CBS' decision to stop showing the replay was a "right" move.

"CBS showed the replay twice in slow motion, although not with a close-up of Ware landing. The network also never showed a close-up of the injury. CBS then concentrated on reaction shots. Three of Ware's teammates were on the ground near the basket. Wayne Blackshear cried, Chane Behanan knelt on his hands and knees and Peyton Silva sat, a hand covering his mouth," the report stated.

Sports Chairman of CBS Sean MacManus said that because of the graphic nature of the video, they have stopped playing it. And those who are curious enough to see the gruesome incident can find a YouTube video anyway.

CBS commentator Clark Kellogg suggested that they could watch the footage if they chose to do so but added the warning that it's "gruesome" for those who are sensitive to such topic.

"If you can bear to watch it, take a look, but it's a gruesome-looking injury," Kellogg said.

Meanwhile Washington Redskins quarterback Joe Theisman who suffered the same kind of injury way back sent out his best wishes to Kevin Ware who is confined in a hospital.
