Katy Perry, John Mayer all loved up to prove they are back together again
Katy Perry and John Mayer are back together again. The couple who dated on and off for two years was recently spotted together at Allison Williams’ wedding to Ricky Van Veen.
A source told People that Katy and John were both present during Williams’ wedding in Saratoga, Wyoming on Saturday, Sept. 19. They reportedly arrived on separate jets but were beside each other during the whole ceremony.
"John and Katy looked happy. They held hands and sat next to each other during the wedding ceremony,” the source said.
According to Page Six, Mayer, who is a close friend of Ricky Van Veen, performed during the wedding ceremony held at Brush Creek Ranch. Hollywood actor Tom Hanks officiated the ceremony.
Katy Perry and John Mayer split in February last year; however, they have since sparked reconciliation rumours even before Williams’ wedding. Both musicians were spotted in January going on a double date with Williams and her then-fiancé Ricky Van Veen. According to People, Katy and John were spotted getting all loved up as they held hands and shared kisses on the table.
Another source then claimed both are in love and have missed each other. Although they have tried to stay away from the limelight, it’s believed John and Katy have been enjoying each other’s company by going out for dinner with friends and having sleepovers.
They were reportedly also spotted together with a group of friends backstage at the Grateful Dead concert in July. Katy and John were said to be very cosy with each other.
A source told the publication that John and Katy may be enjoying each other’s company now, but they still have to figure out how they can maintain their relationship together with their careers. Katy’s successful career was what reportedly caused a rift in their relationship last year.
"They have to make time for each other and figure out how they can be together in a smooth relationship,” the source said.
Regardless, another source told People that “they seem very happy about being back together again." Even after the breakup last year, the source noted how John, 37, and Katy, 30, always had great chemistry together.
