With only two episodes left before the season finale of “Jane The Virgin,” the protagonist is being pulled in so many different directions at once. First of all, she finds herself in the middle of a love rectangle with her ex-fiancé Michael, her baby daddy Rafael, and his ex-wife Petra . Meanwhile, Jane is also nervous about her five-year high school reunion. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

Rafael has broken up with Jane and is struggling with his decision. He is pouring his heart out to the Marbella in an attempt to justify his decision to let her go. Now that his ex-wife Petra owns a third of the hotel, she is using their partnership as a way to get close to him again and maybe get him back. Meanwhile, Michael is also taking advantage of Rafael’s actions by trying to get closer to Jane again.

Michael makes his move by inviting Jane to his commendation ceremony. Even though Jane agrees, the episode synopsis shared by the CW reveals that she is still holding back with some ground rules. Petra is also making her move on Rafael. When he confides in her about Jane’s bid for sole custody of their child, Petra tries to be Rafael’s knight in shining armour and attempts to fix the problem.

Meanwhile, the episode trailer for chapter 21 shows Jane attending her five-year high school reunion. Apparently, she is nervous to attend because her life did not exactly turn out the way she expected when she graduated high school. The video shows Jane talking to her former schoolmates about her pregnancy. When one girl tells her she looks big, Jane gets annoyed and thinks of pulling the other girl’s hair. [video below]

Aside from Jane and her love rectangle, Rogelio needs to deal with the aftermath of his decision to dump Xiomara. Alba also needs to deal with her budding immoral relationship with a Catholic Priest. It is also important to note that the baby is due to come out by the season finale. How the birth affects everything else will be revealed very soon. “Jane The Virgin” airs Mondays at 9 pm on the CW.
