On the 26th of March AT&T and HTC launched a new software update for the HTC One mini (PO58220). The software is updated to software number 3.10.502.3 and it comes with device improvements.

Here are the steps on how to update HTC One Mini to Android 4.4.2 KitKat

There will be a message that will pop up on your screen when the update is already downloadable, or you can also the download the update manually. When urged, you can cancel the update up to 3 times, and the message will appear 4 hours per occurrence. If on the 3rd time the message pop and you still cancelled it, your device will necessarily download and install the update.

1 - If you decided to install the update manually, tap the home screen button.
2 - Look for Settings then tap> Click AT&T software update > Look for updates, and then do the instructions viewed on the screen.
3 - After downloading the software update, a status message will be seen. Click Continue to install the update.
4 - The software is now installed, the phone will automatically restart.
5 - Once the update is complete, tap OK.

In verifying the update.

1 - First, tap the home screen.
2 - Look for Settings then tap.
3 - Then tap About.
4 - Lastly tap Software information. The following information will be displayed: Android version: 4.4.2; HTC Sense version: 5.5; Software number: 3.10.502.3 and Tap More.
