New photos and a video have come out this week giving fans of the hit series a sneak peek of what to expect on Episode 4 of Homeland Season 3. Titled, “Game On”, Carrie is preparing to challenge the Central Intelligence Agency for what they have done to her in the first two episodes this season.

An official synopsis of the fourth episode on Spoiler TV reads: ““Dana goes AWOL, forcing Jessica to call the police. Carrie has a meeting.”

The brief synopsis has given a lot for fans to look forward to for the next episode but it also raises questions as to how the storyline unfolds this week.

Is Dana back to self destruction? Will she continue to be the target of hates for Homeland fans and critics? Will she elope with her new boyfriend she met at the clinic? Will there be more selfies from Dana in her new hide-out? Where is she?

But a bigger part of this week’s plot line is focused on Carrie.

New pictures show that Carrie is freed from the mental facility she was forced to enter in as we saw on week 2. Saul wanted to “rein her in” after he found out that Carrie went to a reporter in an attempt to tell her side of the story.

Carrie ran to the reporter after news of her romantic involvement with Sgt. Nick Brody and her bipolar personality disorder have been made public. Suspecting that the CIA itself leaked the news - - which most would think was Dar Adal’s idea - - Carrie wanted to clear her name and share her side of the story. Fearing that the move will not really help the CIA in large part, Saul Berenson, Carrie’s confidant and now the chief of the CIA, issued a psychiatric order forcing Carrie be hospitalized and take her medicine.

Both didn’t sit well on Carrie. She stayed at the mental hospital in episodes 2 and 3, the latter saw the CIA agent as able to “swear” on her new boss, Saul, who came to visit her and apologize - - only to be responded with “Uh…Oh..Ahhh,” we later know meant, “F&*^ you, Saul.”

Carrie has finally been freed.

“By emergency order by the sixth circuit court of Maryland,” the worker at the hospital responded to a surprised Carrie who asked what could’ve happened.

“Who cares? Start packing,” the hospital staff quipped.

Good thinking. And with this week’s episode, titled, “Game On” Carrie started packing. But is she also out to challenge the CIA that has been her life and second home for fourteen years of her career?

It looks like that’s exactly what Carrie is set out to do. New photos show that as soon as she stepped out of the mental hospital, she was spotted meeting with Senator Lockwood.

The photos show Carrie indeed in a meeting. She was seen sitting on a small bench with some man. Wearing her usual gray coat and jeans, Carrie looks a bit wasted as her body shoulders dropped with hands clasped while talking “clandestinely” as it appeared with a man, which some reports say is Senator Lockwood. Is Carrie meeting the Senator who asked Saul for comments on leaked news? Or is she out there to hurt the agency?

"Homeland" Season 3 Episode 4 airs on Showtime on Oct. 20, 9 pm.
