Why is newly appointed, CIA Chief, Saul Berenson planning on “reigning in” top agent and Sgt. Nicholas Brody’s lover, Carrie Mathison? Is Carrie’s former confidant forcing her to get medication? Why "Homeland" heartthrob, Peter Quinn says “what ever is going on is not okay with him?” Read on and take a sneak peek on Homeland Season 3, Episode 2.

This week’s episode features Berenson still following the advice of retired black ops specialist Dar Adal, played by veteran actor, F. Murray Abraham. And what appeared to be Adal’s idea, the newly designated head of the CIA stormed to Carrie’s sister’s house and informed her that the CIA is planning to “reign in” Carrie.

“Need to reign her in. She's making herself a target,” Saul began as Carrie’s sister opened the door for him.

The scene at Carrie’s house is juxtaposed with Carrie insisting that the war veteran-turned-terrorist, Nick Brody has nothing to do with the massive bombings at Langley two months back.

“I'm not the one who got it wrong. I'm the only one who got it right,” Carrie said in high-pitched, emotional tone to a CIA personnel listening to her as she insisted that the agency should not point a finger on the former marine.

Carrie asserted, “Nicholas Brody is not responsible for the bombings in Langley.”

Saul, who used to be Carrie’s good friend and immediate superior, seemed to keep a blind eye on Carrie at this stage of Showtime’s hit series.

He first “betrayed” Carrie at the Senate hearing. It will be recalled at the final scene of Season 3 Episode 1, on Sept. 29, Saul was sitting in front of the U.S. lawmakers and confirmed on live television, the news that came out before he testified, that indeed, Carrie has sexual relations with Brody, the most wanted man in America.

Noting that it was not entirely an agency-related matter, Saul revealed Carrie’s mental condition as bipolar and how she tried to hide it from the CIA for ten years, adding that she had romantic relationship with Brody, when provoked by the Senate committee chairman.

At this week’s episode of Homeland Season 3, it looks like Saul is planning not only to turn his back on Carrie. The new CIA chief has continued to “reign in” his case officer.

The new video for this week’s episode show Carrie being “strapped” at the hospital bed and was furiously fighting the hospital personnel. It was as retired black ops specialist Dar Adal put it, a way to stop Carrie. Brody’s former lover is seen as a threat to the agency being out of control.

But Carrie didn’t want to take her medications. In the first episode she argued with her Dad that not having her lithium helps her better to locate Brody and find out what led to the destructive Langley bombings. How would Carrie stop Saul from forcing her to take medications? How would she convince the new CIA director that she’s not a threat to the agency.

Stay tuned. Showtime’s "Homeland" Season 3 Episode 2, "Uh... Oh... Ah..." airs on Oct. 6, 2013, 9 p.m.
