"Hawaii Five-0" Season 5 will air the episode “Kuka'awale” on Friday, Feb. 27, 2015 from 9:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT on the CBS Television Network. It will once again feature several action scenes involving the Five-0 team led by Steven J. "Steve" McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Daniel "Danny"/"Danno" Williams (Scott Caan). “Kuka'awale” is the Hawaiian word for stakeout. This episode is about Steve and Danny working on their relationship while being on a surveillance job.

TV Guide reports that in “Hawaii Five-0” Season 5, episode 17 “Kuka'awale,” Danny and Steve will try to repair their relationship as partners while staking out a woman involved in a diamond robbery. The woman in question fled after the jewelry theft and the Five-O team is tasked to get to the bottom of things.

Aside from Steve and Danny, Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim), Kona "Kono" Kalakaua (Grace Park), Jerry Ortega (Jorge Garcia) and Dr. Max Bergman (Masi Oka) will be seen in this episode. “Kuka'awale” is directed by Daniel Dae Kim and written by Lorenzo Manetti and David Wolkove.

Guest stars of this episode include Emmy Award Winner Cloris Leachman (Ruth Tennenbaum), Jon Lovitz (Barry Burns), Jessica Lowndes (Emma Mills), Julien Foures (Josif Radzik), Charlie Saxton (Ricky Schiff), Zoltan Hayth (Jacob Anders/Radomir Ivanovich) and Arden Cho (Mia Price). The Internet Movie Database, or IMDb also reports that Taylor John Smith (Young Steve McGarrett), Taylor Wily (Kamekona), Max Weinberg (Norm), Dennis Chun (Sgt. Duke Lukela) and Shawn Garnett (Flippa) will make an appearance in this episode.
