A few very brief glimpses of “Game of Thrones” season 8 have been released online. Along with a few scenes from the previous seasons, there are some that are from what happens next. Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Sansa (Sophie Turner) can be seen hugging in the teaser.

There are lot of good shows on HBO this year. The network has released a new video online [see below] that teases scenes from shows and movies like “Big Little Lies,” “True Detective,” “Veep,” “Room 104,” “The Deuce,” “Flight of the Conchords,” “Jane Fonda in Five Acts,” “My Dinner with Herve,” “The Shop,” “Pod Save America,” “Camping,” “My Brilliant Friend,” and “Game of Thrones.”

Many of the scenes from “Game of Thrones” are from season 7, but there are a few from the upcoming season as well. The most notable scene in the video is Jon Snow embracing Sansa.

Jon Snow was last seen on his way back home with Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). The two are now lovers. There will be some interesting things for the King in the North to find out when he returns home.

Winterfell has been under the command of Sansa, who has been taking very good care of her ancestral home. Jon and Sansa will reunite in the next season, but the other more important reunions will be between Jon and sister Arya (Maisie Williams) and his brother Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright).

Bran and Samwell (John Bradley) should have some pretty big news to share with the King in the North about his own background and the war. The Night King has already crossed the Wall, and the war that Jon dreads is finally here.

There will be just six episodes in “Game of Thrones” season 8. The final season will pack some highly emotional reunions, deaths, and action.
