The hit HBO series “Game of Thrones” has hit the halfway mark of the season with an episode entitled “Kill The Boy.” Episode 5 will deal with the aftermath of the Faith Militant’s rampage in King’s Landing as well as the uprising of the Sons of the Harpy in the previous episode. Here’s what to expect next Sunday: [Warning: Spoiler Alert]

Meereen

Ser Barristan Selmy is no boy but he has almost certainly been killed. Episode 4 ended with him being repeatedly stabbed during an attack by the Sons of the Harpy. The uprising left many unsullied dead and Grey Worm also gravely injured.

In the episode trailer released by HBO, Daenerys is presented with a dead body in her throne room in Meereen. The episode synopsis states that she will be faced with a difficult decision and this could be in relation to her response to the uprising in her city streets. [video below]

Winterfell

Ramsay is up to no good. This episode may reveal more of his terrifying behaviour as hinted by Alfie Allen who plays Theon Greyjoy. Brienne feels the same way and she says as much in the trailer, saying that Sansa is in danger even if she does not realise it.

The Wall

Jon Snow is repeating the fact that winter is coming a lot more these days and he knows that this time, it won’t be long before it actually arrives. He knows that the threats are coming from both the north and the south of the Wall but at the moment, he is more concerned with the terrors that the north brings. As Stannis concerns himself with Winterfell and the Iron Throne, Jon will turn his eyes north and find an unlikely ally to aid his quest to prepare for winter and fight the white walkers.

Across The Narrow Sea

The episode trailer shows the startled look on Tyrion Lannister’s face as he sets eyes on a grown dragon for the first time in his life. Dragons have long been the stuff of legends but have been believed to be extinct. Although familiar with dragon bones that used to adorn the Targaryen’s Red Keep, seeing one for the first time leaves Tyrion looking spellbound and speechless for the first time.

Episode 5 of “Game of Thrones” season 5 airs next Sunday at 9 pm on HBO. The episode titles and synopses until episode 8 have also been released by HBO.
