‘Fuller House’ star John Stamos says he doesn’t drink anymore

John Stamos, 52, is set to reprise his role as Jesse Katsopolis in the upcoming Netflix original series “Fuller House,” which will premiere on Feb. 26. Almost two months before the 13-episode “Full House” reboot, the actor talked about the past controversies he was involved in.
Stamos discussed his stint in rehab and the death of his parents during an interview with radio host Howard Stern, which aired on SiriusXM on Jan. 4, Monday. The actor claimed that he does not drink anymore and he does not miss getting high “at all.”
“I really don't have anything to hide anymore,” People quoted Stamos as saying. He also revealed that in his late 20s, he impregnated a woman he did not name.
The “Fuller House” actor pointed that when he got divorced and when his father passed away, he was sent to “a wrong path.” He said things were exacerbated when his mother passed away in September 2014.
Days before Christmas, Stamos was spotted at Maxfield in Los Angeles wearing a newsboy cap and black blazer. He was shopping with a female companion, according to Just Jared.
Meanwhile, Stamos’ “Fuller House” co-star Lori Loughlin was seen in Aspen, Colorado, days before Christmas with her husband Mossimo Giannulli. With a shearling leather backpack, the actress wore a knit beanie trimmed with a fuzzy ball.
While Stamos reprises his role as Jesse Katsopolis, Loughlin will reprise her role as Rebecca Donaldson-Katsopolis in “Fuller House.” Also playing recurring roles in the reboot are Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, Scott Weinger, Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit, Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit, Eva LaRue, Michael Sun Lee and Juan Pablo Di Pace.
In the main cast of “Fuller House” are Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Soni Nicole Bringas, Michael Campion, Elias Harger, Dashiell Messitt and Fox Messitt. Twin sisters Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen were the only “Full House” cast members who did not reprise their role in the Netflix original series.
