Dominique Strauss-Kahn
Former IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn leaves his hotel to attend the trial in the so-called Carlton Affair, in Lille, February 11, 2015, where 14 people including Strauss-Kahn stand accused of sex offences including the alleged procuring of prostitutes. Strauss-Kahn is charged with "procuring with aggravating circumstances". The trial is expected to run for at least three weeks, court officials said. Reuters

What does former International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn have in common and differences with ex-Malaysia Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim?

Both have been accused of sodomy or anal sex, but the Frenchman is accused of forcing himself on a female prostitute, while Anwar has been convicted of forced anal sex on a male political aide.

The Malaysian Opposition leader’s conviction was confirmed on Monday by the country’s Federal Court, while the French wannabe-president is facing pimping charges that allegedly operates in Hotel Carlton in Lille, France.

Jade, the sex trade worker who confirmed that the 65-year-old man on trial is the same person who engaged in Roman orgies with her and other prostitutes, said she was forced to have anal sex by the former IMF boss in autumn 2009 at the Amigo Hotel in Belgium.

“There was moment which was more than unpleasant … When I was lying with my back to Monsieur DSK, I suffered a penetration. If he had had asked me I would have said no. I didn’t like that,” quotes the Independent.

Jade, in her 40s, said the sodomy debunks Strauss-Kahn’s claim that he didn’t know the women he was having an orgy with are sex trade workers because he treated her like a sex object.

According to EarsToHear.net, the lining of the anus is too delicate to withstand trauma cause by intercourse, unlike the vagina’s lining which is tough, similar to the skin in human hands, making it withstand the trauma of penile penetration and childbirth.

Anal intercourse, whether the penis or an object enters the rectal opening, traumatises the soft tissue of the rectal lining and causes tears in it, allowing for immediate contamination and entry of germs into the bloodstream.

She also told the court that they talked about prostitution while driving to Belgium and had told him she works in a sex club.

Jade compares their parties to Roman orgies, saying, “It was like antiquity: a man spread out on a bed with many women around. There weren’t other men, so it wasn’t about being a libertine,” quotes the New York Daily News.

The ex-IMF boss, ousted from his post due to rape charges filed by a maid in Manhattan, told the court while he is a libertine, he claimed on Tuesday that he thought the women in the parties were only friends.

Strauss-Kahn is battling aggravated pimping charges and being part of a sex mafia operating in Lille’s Hotel Carlton. Strauss-Kahn planned to run for president in France but withdrew because of the rape charges.

Jade described their orgies as revolting that made her sick in the stomach as she stresses, “There was something that repulses me: the people and bodies blended together without condoms.”

Strauss-Kahn told the court that he participated in such parties 12 times or four per year over three years, from 2009 to 2011, during the height of the global financial crisis.

He said that as IMF managing director, he had a very hectic life, and the parties were just few of the rare outlets he had for recreation. Strauss-Kahn said he then thought that women in the party were just a group of friend, and had he known they were sex trade workers, he would have stopped taking part in those affairs.

Two co-defendants – Fabrice Paszkowski and David Roquet – said they never told the IMF boss that they hired prostitutes for those parties.

Prostitution is legal in France, but it is considered a crime to solicit clients or to operate a prostitution den. If Strauss-Kahn is convicted, he could be fined $1.7 million.
